As for GPU performance, you can also tell it's nowhere near the same level as top-tier PCs. Apple really changed the landscape for tiny, powerful machines. Of course, it's still far behind the Mac Studio with the M1 Ultra chip, but that's no surprise at this point. Naturally, we have to look at benchmarks, too. That's not Lenovo's fault, but it's something to consider. In our review of the Mac Studio, this same workload was done in just one minute and 22 seconds using DaVinci Resolve. That's pretty fast for this kind of workload, though it's hard not to look over at Apple's Mac Studio here. The video itself is 4 minutes and 2 seconds long, and the total render time was 6 minutes and 46 seconds. Of course, a more likely workload for this machine is video rendering, so I tried to export an 8K video using DaVinci Resolve. The message seems to point to the graphics card, but I followed the process to update my drivers from the Command Line I selected: I am running Da Vinci Resolve Studio version 18.0.1 (paid version) – so the issue cannot be related to codec support. The images do not display proper colours, and videos do not play – although the audio does.
