I now know the only way to contact eBay is to request a call and they will call you, they don’t provide a customer service phone number. This search sent me directly to a scammer. I had some issues regarding the payment on eBay and did a search on google for eBay customer service phone number (this was a big mistake). I almost got scammed by a scammer claiming to be calling from eBay. Those FBI popups are also fake, reboot and restore to an earlier point if this happens too.Īlmost got scammed by a Scammer NOT THE APP If you really have a problem you can’t figure out, look up the OFFICIAL phone number for apple or windows customer service. YOU SHOULD NEVER HAVE TO CALL SOMEONE TO UNLOCK YOUR DEVICE.
If it’s a desktop and it’s still frozen, restore the computer to an earlier point. Try restarting you’re device and most of the time that will fix it. It is a just a tab that has locked your screen or device temporarily. Whether it’s your phone or desktop, it’s not actually a virus. IF YOU EVER GET A POP UP SAYING THAT YOU HAVE A VIRUS, NEVER EVER CALL THE NUMBER THEY GIVE YOU. They’re just using legal apps in an illegal manner. Scammers use this app just like they use cash app, but it’s not the apps fault. This app on its own is completely safe as long as the device you’re connecting to is trusted. However, scammers will also use this software to take control of your device IF YOU CONNECT TO THEM DIRECTLY. This app is not a scam, it’s just a way to connect to another desktop or phone so that you can use it without being there. All the drivers are updated and I manually started up the graphics program again but the remote connection is still messed up until I restart, it seems something else is happening and so far restarting is the only way I have found to fix it.I had to write this review because I keep seeing people falling for scams in the comment section.
However everything on the host still works normally including the graphics, just except for this one problem with the remote connection. Not sure what that means exactly but I guess something with the graphics keeps crashing and reopening before giving up. The only thing I have noticed is that sometimes in the "hidden icons" list in the taskbar there are 30+ identical Nvidia icons which disappear as I scroll over them.
The problem is still happening and for now I've just been getting around it by removing the cable and just leaving the lid open, which prevents this problem but is still not the solution I am looking for. No, the host is a laptop with the lid closed, but I have an HDMI cable plugged into a TV right next to it which allows the graphics to keep running.
