I'm grateful we have such a beautiful theater and arts program in Boston. Saw Phantom of the Opera a couple if times and each time amazing! Love the Boston Ballet as well. My husband and I saw "The King and I" back in the spring and it was Fabulous!! We had front row center right mezzanine seats and they were spectacular! Excellent sound, view, etc.I always get dressed up when I come because it is Boston and it's a Beautiful place! I do see people in jeans and I don't get that? Some tips 1) You can park at beach street garage nearby (cheapest I could find) 2) coat check is 2 $ per item 3) drinks etc are available. Blu Restaurant is a fun place to visit any time, but it is especially wonderful for pre-theatre dining. Blu restaurant is among one of the best, and has delicious food, drinks and amazing views of downtown Boston. The Opera House is one of the most beautiful, bustling and interesting theatres in all of downtown Boston and has a tremendous amount of restaurants.
For people who enjoy pre-theatre dining, wine and a wonderful atmosphere, there is little that is more enjoyable than having a drink or Blu restaurant.
